LE JFA CLASSIC 69 ALDEBARAN

/ Wednesday, December 28, 2011 /

Aldebaran is a 68-foot classic style from the naval architects of Barracuda Yacht Design (Madrid).

The hull is built of aluminum whereas the superstructures are made of mahogany. This yacht is the first of this type built by JFA shipyards in Concarneau.
The interior architecture was entrusted to Franck Darnet. This yachts responds to the sailing program of a passionate and experienced owner who wants to sail with a minimal crew.
It is equipped with only two cabins, his occupying the entire forward section of the boat.
The very traditional interior design blends lacquered wood and mahogany. A doghouse shelters the chart table and the watch berth.
The deck plan is also very classical, made of teak and varnished mahogany with all stainless steel hardware.
The technical equipment is limited (no air conditioning, no watermaker, no deep freeze…) only a hydraulic power pack to simplify sailing maneuvers.
