The whole region of Dubrovnik is well-known for its fascinating landscapes, abundant Mediterranean vegetation, mild climate and interesting smaller settlements.
In former times, it came under the Dubrovnik Republics territory, so that it was connected to the City of Dubrovnik historically, traditionally, economically and by traffic routes.
