The masterful design by the distinguished Rob Humphreys is luxuriously appointed, the semi deck saloon opens out into a virtual apartment with superb voluminous space and the overhead and side panoramic windows provide welcoming natural light and an excellent view. The selection of various interior layouts with up to 5 beautifully appointed cabins and large en-suite bathrooms, as well as an office offer the owner the possibility to custom design to his requirements.
In all, this is supreme live-on-board comfort and an entertainer’s delight.
The vast cockpit area provides excellent comfort, the twin wheel steering system offers both a perfect position for the helmsman and excellent access to the transom. Ergonomically positioned winches are designed for easy handling with minimum crew.
The push of a button opens the garage door which serves as a large swimming platform when fully opened creating easy access to the water and additional entertainment area. Designated garage space stores an inflatable tender up to 2.60 metres in length and optional retractable hydraulic gangway eases the access on and off the yacht.
The 514 can be rigged as a sloop or cutter with the choice of in-mast furling and options of electric or hydraulic powered winches.
Elan’s signature hi tech design and build; highly advanced 3-D vacuum assisted lamination construction, unique and superior rudder fixing arrangement, the mast and rigging is much heavier and more robust than most in her class. Also a proper big boat bilge which adds enormous strength to the hull in the keel area. All underpinned by Germanischer Lloyd Certification.
